Death or Glory were led to their 25.64 point victory by a 30.05 point effort from Maurice Jones-Drew, who tore apart the Tennessee Titans defense for 177 rushing yards and 2 rushing tds. With this performance, Jones-Drew was the number 5 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 8. They also got help from a 27.20 point effort from Mark Sanchez, who got by the Miami Dolphins defense for 265 passing yards and 2 passing tds in addition to 6 rushing yards.

"We're happy we could pull this one out at the end," Death or Glory coach Dan Harrison said.

Floating Fecal Logs were helped out in a losing cause by a 37.40 point effort from Chris Johnson, who tore apart the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 228 rushing yards and 2 rushing tds in addition to 11 receiving yards. With this performance, Johnson was the number 1 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 8. They also got help from a 16.00 point effort from Jared Allen, who beat the Green Bay Packers offense for 5 tackles and 3.0 sacked a qb.

"They just made the big plays and we didn't," Floating Fecal Logs coach Albert Leach said.

Adding salt to the wound, Floating Fecal Logs could have scored 203.56 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Albert Leach left key players like Percy Harvin and his corresponding 19.60 points on the bench.

This brings the record for Death or Glory to 5-3, and drops Floating Fecal Logs to a record of 4-4.
